Lifelong friends and self-professed New Orleans Saints nerds Jacob Krasnow, Sean Haspel and Allison Pratt ~tchoup~ it up, exploring the joys and sorrows that come with the fandom of their favorite football team. This week, Jacob and Sean’s dads are back by popular demand! Gary Krasnow and “Papa John” Haspel join the pod to complain about the Saints’ giant wet fart of an offense; debate whether Jameis Winston is too hurt to be good or if he just stinks; and wonder if the team will turn it around in London like they did in 2017, or if we’re in for another few months of perpetual misery.
Time codes:
2:11 – The Saints are an undisciplined mess right now. Is it time to bench Jameis?
13:15 – Are Dennis Allen and Pete Carmichael just “substitute teachers?”
21:19 – We need to be rooting for the Chargers to suck so they give us their first rounder for Sean Payton’s rights
24:30 – Was the DA hire about “complacency,” not “continuity” or “consistency?”
34:05 – How in the hell do the Saints turn this around? At least Chris Olave and Pete Werner are good
42:31 – Our Completely True, 100% Accurate predictions of what will happen vs. the Vikings in London

Lifelong friends and self-professed New Orleans Saints nerds Jacob Krasnow, Sean Haspel and Allison Pratt ~tchoup~ it up, exploring the joys and sorrows that come with the fandom of their favorite football team. This week, the gang gives zero credit to the fraudulent, classless Buccaneers organization for their 20-10 "victory;" wonders aloud how much the loss falls on Dennis Allen’s shoulders; and compares Tom Brady to the most evil leader in world history.
Time codes:
2:46 – Jameis and the offense are massively underachieving, but the defense looks good.
7:09 – This game was eerily similar to the only other time Brady’s Bucs beat the Saints…or was it the last time the Saints beat themselves against the Bucs?
13:31 – The Bucs are a trashy, bush league organization.
18:57 – The Bucs “rivalry” is a mirage because they’re just jealous and this game was lost because the Saints beat themselves. How much is Dennis Allen to blame?
30:29 – Next week is make or break for Jameis and the offense.
37:43 – Our 100% accurate, completely true Saints vs. Panthers predictions.

Lifelong friends and self-professed New Orleans Saints nerds Jacob Krasnow, Sean Haspel and Allison Pratt ~tchoup~ it up, exploring the joys and sorrows that come with the fandom of their favorite football team. This week, the gang does a jig on the corpse of the Falcons (and Atlanta in general) after the team blew a 16-point lead against the Saints in the fourth quarter; celebrates the return of Michael Thomas: horror movie monster; and Jacob wonders aloud whether NFL refs are actual humans or if they’re born out of the mud like the Orcs in Lord of the Rings.
Time codes:
1:20 – The Saints pulled off an epic win but should we be worried about the sloppiness?
15:17 – NFL refs continue to lower the bar for success (or failure?)
16:43 – Is there cause for concern regarding offensive and defensive lines, and the defense in general?
22:11 – The Bucs looked old and vulnerable against the Cowboys
29:15 – Week Two predictions…will the Saints win by 90??

Lifelong friends and self-professed New Orleans Saints nerds Jacob Krasnow, Sean Haspel and Allison Pratt ~tchoup~ it up, exploring the joys and sorrows that come with the fandom of their favorite football team. In the first episode of the podcast’s second season (now on our new dedicated pod feed!), the gang explains why the Saints will kick Tom Brady's old butt in 2022, predict what will happen in week one against the hated Atlanta *Fail*cons and collectively mourn the trade of Chauncey Gardner-Johnson, the living embodiment of Saints Twitter.
Time codes:
1:58 – BGBS re-launches! But who are we and what the hell is this podcast?
11:47 – The Saints traded mascot/safety/ Can’t Guard Mike punching bag Chauncey Gardner-Johnson for diddly-poo
25:19 – Our expectations for the 2022 Saints and the rest of the (terrible) NFC South and the (probably also terrible) NFC in general
43:16 – Week one predictions. Does one of us dare pick the Saints to lose?
